Gastronomic festival dedicated to truffle, bread and typical products of the Province of Ferrara

Truffle is typical of the territory of Bondeno; the Festival has been created to promote this delicious product, as well as classical recipes of the Ferrarese tradition. The Estense Court used truffle as a precious product for the Duke’s favourite recipes. Truffle grew in the territories of the Po river, especially around Bondeno, where a peculiar white variety can still be found.

Ferrarese bread is one of the most peculiar products of our cuisine. The “white art” has been practised for centuries in the Province of Ferrara, since the years of the Estense domination . The most famous variety of this delicious product is the “coppia ferrarese”, a butterfly-shaped bread which has gained the IGP certification.

The Ferrarese Pearls are typical excellence products of our Province, between land and sea.
