Railway stations
Ferrara Station
Ferrara Station, opened in 1862, is the principal station for the city and the province.
It is served by the Bologna-Padova line, and is the terminus for the Ferrara-Codigoro, Suzzara-Ferrara and Ferrara-Ravenna-Rimini lines. There are direct trains to Rovigo, Padova, Venezia (Venice), Bologna, Ravenna, Mantova, Rimini, Firenze (Florence), Roma (Rome), Napoli (Naples), Pescara and Vienna.There are three smaller local stations around Ferrara: Ferrara Porta Reno, Ferrara Aleotti and Pontelagoscuro.
