The Po Delta Park

birds

One of the most important wetland zones in Europe and the largest in Italy, bringing together elements of biodiversity to make a paradise for naturalists, biologists, scientists, tourists and birdwatchers.

A great green area framed by ancient woodlands, pinewoods and nature reserves, studded with architectural survivals from the golden age of the Este dukes.

The park is laid out in stations, territorial zones characterised by specific biological and geographic zones, cultural and artistic features, and historic buildings.
