A night at the Ancient Delta Museum
Guided tours
The museum is housed in the eighteenth-century Comacchio Hospital, a prestigious neoclassical building designed by the Ferrarese architect Antonio Foschini.
The museum tells the ancient story of the mouth of the Po River: it displays the precious cargo of a Roman ship dating back to I century B.C., found in Comacchio in 1981, and the rich archaeological heritage of the area, ranging from the Bronze Age to the VIII century.
