Peach and Nectarine from Romagna - IGP
The areas around Ferrara that grow peaches and nectarines are as follows: Argenta, Cento, Codigoro, Massa Fiscaglia, Poggio Renatico, Portomaggiore, S. Agostino, Tresigallo, Voghiera.
Recent studies have demonstrated that, thanks to their natural nutritional characteristics (rich in vitamin C, potassium and beta carotene), peaches and nectarines play an important role as anti-oxidants against free radicals and are good for overall health.
IGP recognition. They are the only peaches in Italy to enjoy this privileged position.
