PORTO DI GORO (Goro Port) - MARINA DI GORO
44°50.35' N – 12°17.65' E

The port is the inner part of the Sacca di Goro and is a wide basin, nearly rectangular in shape, contained by the banks and breakwaters. Since the middle of last century consolidation works have made the port into a solid structure suitable for mooring and repairing boats. The port is home to a few hundred local fishing boats fitted for gathering mussels and clams.
It also has an important tourism role as a departure point for excursions into the Po Delta. With a small boat you can cross the Sacca to the port of Gorino, and through canals and cane beds get as far as the picturesque lighthouse.
To the left on the way into the port there is a tourist marina with floating piers and finger moorings managed by Marina di Goro S.r.l.
