La Giostra del Borgo
From June, 13th to 30th, 2013
The 10th edition of Giostra del Borgo, organized by Contrada S. Luca, is deeply linked to solidarity and environment. The event has a low environmental impact, with waste separation and a help for the nearby feline colony.
As always, the Giostra del Borgo will be organized at the Municipal Racetrack, where the “Castello Restaurant” will be prepared: here, it will be possible to taste typical dishes of the Ferrarese cuisine.
At the same time, the “Hostaria della Giostra” will serve delicious snacks and beers at the Racetrack Garden. Many shows, concerts and entertainment activities will be performed.
Timetable
During the weekend, it will be possibile to visit the Renaissance Camp, where soldiers from Borgo San Luca will perform duels, archery and camp life: a dive into the past!
From 6,30 to 8,30 pm, chess tournaments will be organized.
Many the events organized during the weekends.
There will be plenty of activities for kids: games and magic with Chiara and Trilly at “Feudo del Piccolo Guerriero”.
During the weekends, a Renaissance Market will be organized: there, it will be possibile to purchase many objects from the past!
