The International kite festival takes place in the wonderful urban park of Ferrara
Vulandra Kite Festival, which was established for fun long ago in 1980, is now established among the most important kite events in Europe. Every year the Ferrara Festival hosts a large number of kite growers from all over Italy, from different European countries, France, Germany, Austria, Holland, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Belgium, and now to reflect its global character, representatives from America, Canada, Japan, Argentina, Brazil, Australia.
Kites are of the most different sizes and shapes and the effect of collective flight is truly amazing. In addition to the kite shows, a large number of entertainments are organized for children and adults.
The festival takes place in the wonderful Urban Park "G. Bassani", 250,000 square meters of greenery just outside the Renaissance city walls.
