The exhibition revolves around Homer’s poem and tells of the first "world war", a battle that lasted ten years involving peoples from the Mediterranean and Asia. Celebrated by Homer’s words depicted on vases, frescoes, reliefs, and monuments; an inexhaustible source of inspiration for artists and poets from all over the world and from all eras up until today, the Trojan War’s myths and characters show the ancient origin of European culture.
