Ro
This is an agrarian village situated very close to the Po and has shared its entire history with the river, most notably the terrible floods that periodically hit the area. The town began to have a history of its own starting from the Napoleonic period, when it first obtained municipal autonomy, thereafter maintained and lost in alternating phases. Economic prosperity came in the 19th century, thanks to the improved hydrological conditions and the consequent development of agriculture.
