Internazional Kite Festival

The Vulandra Festival which was set up for fun long ago in 1980, is now established among the most important kite events of Europe. Every year the Ferrara Festival accommodates a great number of kitefliers coming from all over Italy, from several European countries, France, Germany, Austria, Holland, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Belgium, and now to reflect its world-wide character, representatives from America, Canada, Japan, Argentina, Brazil, Australia.
The kites are of the most different sizes and shapes, and the effect of the collective flight is really amazing.
Beside the kite shows, a great number of entertainments are organized for the little ones and the grown-ups.
The festival takes place in the wonderful Urban Park, 250.000 sqm of green just outside the Renaissance City Walls.
