VIOLENCE. When art plays violence. 25th "Biennale Donna"

The 25th edition of "Biennale Donna" has been organized at the PAC of Ferrara.
Contemporary Art Gallery of Ferrara by UDI and the Modern Galleries (curators: Lola Bonora and Silvia Cirelli). The exhibition shows artworks by international female artists, as Valie Export, Regina Josè Galindo, Loredana Longo, Naiza H. Khan, Yoko Ono, Lydia Schouten and Nancy Spero, who have studied the topic of "violence" in several meanings: individual, cultural, politic, social and domestic violence. Several languages will be used: sculpture, drawing, photography, video art and installations.
