Formignana
Like the nearby Copparo, it was for a long time vied over by Ferrara and Ravenna. Throughout its history Formignana has been a small village tied to transport on the Po di Volano and the development of agriculture was parallel to the progress of land reclamation. Today the village still occupies an important position for communications within the province of Ferrara.
